Along the promenade, you can get up close to dramatic rock layers formed by submarine volcanic activity and crustal movements, and enjoy a geo-walk.
On clear days you can see the Izu Islands and Mikomoto Island, and tidepooling around the shore is also popular.

From Izukyu-Shimoda Station, take the Tokai Bus from platform 10 bound for Susaki Coast, get off at the Susaki Coast stop and walk about 5 minutes.
