A large stand of narcissus blooms at Cape Tsumekizaki on Susaki Peninsula, and at the peak about 3 million flowers fill the air with a sweet scent.

The blue sky and sea, the white lighthouse, and the delicate narcissus create a scene straight out of a fairy tale. The flowering season runs from mid-December to early February, and the Narcissus Festival draws many visitors each year from December 20 to January 31.
