Founded in 1867 (Keiō 3). The “Senninburo” (large communal bath for a thousand people) is filled with natural hot spring water from its own private source, the Kawachi Onsen.
This mixed-gender bath allows female guests to enter at any time from a separate women's changing room (bathing in towels is permitted).
